How Long Before My Spell Shows Results?

Something is missing in our understanding of magic if we cast a spell for any desire we wish and then just wait for ‘results’. When we ask the Universe to consider our request, we are taking a leap of faith and handing over our intention to Source. The spell should be considered already working once cast and if the wish is for our best and highest good, it will manifest. We are giving a magical boost to our best chances, but we do need to consider our Sphere of Influence.

Can we really just sit back and wait for something to happen? If we are looking for a better job, it is unlikely we will simply be offered a job out of nowhere if it requires a level of qualification, ability and experience completely outside of our capabilities, particularly if we are not actually looking and applying for anything

If, on the other hand, we are casting a spell to request that our boss favours us for promotion, we can already see how this would more likely manifest. However, if there is another worker who greatly surpasses our skills, we then run into a challenge. If it is likely we wouldn’t otherwise even be considered, a spell can certainly help plant a seed that may sway the boss towards considering us. They may find themselves noticing our efforts and talents more keenly. But realistically, if the gap between us and the other worker is very large, logic will eventually kick in and we may miss out on that big promotion this time around. However, the seed has still been planted and perhaps the boss will continue to notice our continued efforts, or perhaps a role more suited to us may soon appear.

According to various traditions, the outcome of a spell may take as little as a day or two or as long as several weeks. Within my own teachings, the belief is that if I haven’t seen something begin to manifest within four weeks (One Lunar Cycle), then I may need to revisit my working.

Typically, spells don’t result in immediate outcomes we can see. For example, a spell may start with changes in the feelings of other people. Yet, even after their feelings have changed, it may take time for feelings to turn into actions or to develop fully.

Rather than spending time worrying about whether the spell is taking effect, it is often a good idea to carry on with life as usual. We can become aware of small changes that indicate the spell is causing change, even if the change is slower and subtler than we would like

Sometimes we get results that aren’t what we were expecting because the Universe has something else in mind for us. It’s also important to remember that spells should not force free will.

If you have wisely undertaken a card reading and some healing to give guidance alongside the spell, follow what has been advised as much as you can to minimise the time a spell will take to manifest. Be aware that constantly contacting the spell caster is unfair and will not speed up the time for the outcome of your spell. The work has already been done. A spell caster will be able to advise you if and when further spell work is necessary, and customised healing and spiritual guidance services can look at ways you may be unknowingly affecting your results. Please remember that a spell has worked even if you do not get the end results you ultimately desired. The spell still affected changes and moved things along.

With spell work, faith is the greatest power that is required. Be patient and have faith that everything will naturally fall into place, or something better and divinely guided will come our way instead
